Shekhina’s Song

Dark wings carry this illuminated body.
Held aloft by shadowed ritual and wordless vows.

It is the darkness that is embellished by the moon’s glowing visage -
An inky sea made tangible but continually transcendent.

A night garden, where each blossom exudes its own hidden nature.
Every nocturnal breath an affirmation of our own mortality.

Trappings of a Single Soul

Layer by layer, I peel away myself.
Moment by moment, I come closer to the Truth.
This dalliance of life is just a playing ground
for a game the length of eternity.

Cycle of Life

Time flows ever round
as a stream with no end or source
so our life progresses
reflected in the moon’s soft glow
maiden - mother - crone
each turn of the year wheel
our wholeness adapts
body - mind - spirit
each aspect to be cultivated
each a part of the entirety
how vast life is
how much it asks of us
what is given will be returned
pain and suffering endured
offers life and joy
And so life continues
ever-moving , ever-giving
